ChicagoTeamStore.com Shipping Policy
Using sophisticated order processing and inventory management software systems, ChicagoTeamStore.com is able to process, pack, and ship your orders quickly and efficiently. With few exceptions, most orders are processed and are on their way to their final destination within 24 hours after the order is placed. Those few exceptions are related to merchandise availability, daily shipping cut-off times, and weekend/holiday shipping availability.
Availability of Merchandise
ChicagoTeamStore.com maintains a large, main warehouse located just west of Chicago's O'Hare Airport. We also have Wrigleyville Sports retail locations across the street from Wrigley Field, and in the River North neighborhood of Downtown Chicago. Most orders are picked and packed for shipment at our warehouse within hours after the order is received online. In rare situations where merchandise is available only at our retail location, we transfer that inventory to our warehouse so that we can complete your order and ship it to you as quickly as possible. These inventory transfers occur on a daily basis and help us adhere to our "most orders ship within 24 hours or by the end of the next business day" goal.
Daily Shipping Cut-off Times
ChicagoTeamStore.com has teamed up with UPS® and the United States Postal Service (USPS) to offer you a complete menu of shipping options. They both make regularly scheduled pickups of shipments from our warehouse during weekdays (Monday through Friday), with the last pickup occurring at approximately 3pm Central time. Most orders placed during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, will normally ship within 24 hours. Many orders placed before 1pm Central time on Fridays will be available to ship on Friday evening.
Weekend and Holiday Shipping
USPS does not offer pickup or delivery services on Sundays or Holidays. UPS does not offer pickup or delivery services on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays. If you require expedited order processing and shipping, please contact us directly at 877-859-2460 during regular business hours (9am - 5pm CST, Monday through Friday) so we can make sure the package goes out as quickly as possible.
When can I Expect My Order to be Processed and Shipped?
Given the above information, you can expect the following:
- Orders for items that are in-stock and available at our main warehouse will be processed and shipped on the same day if the order is placed before 3pm Central time Monday through Friday.
- In situations where we must transfer inventory from our retail location to fulfill your order, your order will most likely ship on the next business day.
- Orders Ship within 1-3 business days. It will generally only take the full 3 business days during peak ordering times, such as Playoff Times and Holiday Seasons.
- If you have an order that contains in stock and backordered/drop ship items, we will ship the items that are currently in stock, and ship the backordered/drop ship items via Standard Shipping, regardless of the shipping method you have selected. You will not be billed twice for shipping.
Do you Ship Internationally?
Yes. ChicagoTeamStore.com has teamed up with MyUS.com to provide an easy and secure process for shipping your order to an International Address. For more information, please check out the "International Shipping" Page in our Customer Service Section.
What If I Want to Get My Order Faster?
Through USPS, ChicagoTeamStore.com offers Priority and Express Shipping. Through UPS, we offer 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air. Please Note: expedited shipping methods do not affect our order processing time. However, expedited shipping will shorten the time it takes for USPS, UPS, or any other carrier we may use to get your order to its final destination once it is picked up from our warehouse. The following example illustrates this concept: An order is placed on a Friday at 10pm with overnight shipping. Using the USPS or UPS pickup and delivery schedule, the earliest the shipment would be available for pickup is the following Monday, for delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday. In the rare cases where we must transfer inventory to our warehouse from our retail location to fulfill your order, your order may not ship until Tuesday for a Wednesday or Thursday delivery.
